Mansour Drills Gavern in One: Dusty Harrison, Jeffrey Win

Dover Downs Casino and Hotel, Dover, Delaware - Heavyweight contender Amir Mansour (18-0, 14KOs) drilled late replacement Jason Gavern (21-14-4, 10KOs) in the first round.

Ronica Jeffrey (12-0, 1KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Natasha Spence (6-2-1, 5KOs)  in a bout for the interim-WIBA super featherweight title. The scores were 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.

Welterweight prospect Dusty Harrison (14-0, 8KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Jonathan Garcia (3-4, 1KO) the scores were 59-55, 60-54, 60-54.

mansour is 40 & he just beat gavern in one. he needs a step up as he obviously can beat C level guys. gavern has been one of the best journeymen over the last several years. i had the pleasure…

He's old but not used up. Very dangerous. Maybe best American heavy. Him and that Franklin Lawrence.

Too bad he spent some of his best years behind bars. A wasted talent, like Ike Ibeabuchi. Would be good to see Mansour in there with a real contender, see how far he can give it one last shot.
