Veteran trainer Robert Garcia has no doubts about Marcos Maidana's ability to land big punches on WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner (27-0, 22KOs) on December 14th, when they top a Showtime televised quadrupleheader from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

After watching how fighters like Gavin Rees and Paulie Malignaggi were able to land punches on Broner, Garcia feels confident that Maidana (34-3, 31KOs) will be able to do the same - and cause more a lot damage when he lands.

"Oh definitely [I see holes in his defense]. Maidana is going to land some punches. He is definitely going to lands some punches and they are going to be a lot harder than Gavin Rees, a lot harder than Paulie. We're going to be ready. We know the fight is not easy, we know the fight is going to be difficult. [Broner is] going to be on the ropes a lot, I'll tell you that. He better prepare himself because he's going to be on the ropes a lot," Garcia said.
