Marcos "Chino" Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) is knuckling down to some super intensive pound for pound training, in the crescendo build up to, the rematch against WBC/WBA super welterweight and welterweight champion, Floyd Mayweather (46-0, 26KOs), which takes place on September 13th  at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The rough hewn Argentinian who trains in Oxnard, California, and is guided by Robert Garcia - said he's very confident of defeating the best pound for pound boxer of this era.

"I'm well prepared, I'll do my job and I know I can win. I'm waiting patiently for the date to come. We are sure that everything will be fine, " stressed Marcos.

"I know I have an absolutely great chance for victory. It will be very difficult just like the first fight, but I'll be well prepared to win when I get to the fight. I have received great support from the fans, so I have a large commitment to them."

"Chino" will be the second opponent in 46 fights that Mayweather will actually rematch. The only other opponent who Mayweather faced twice, was Jose Luis Castillo.
