Dmitriy Salita, President of US-based Salita Promotions proudly announces a partnership with long-time German promotional powerhouse Universum Box-Promotion GmbH to represent their fighter roster in the North American market, including staging events in the United States and working with broadcasting partners to share Universum Box-Promotion boxing shows in Germany with viewers in North America.
Russian junior middleweight Magomed Kurbanov (21-0, 13 KOs) is aiming to land a showdown with fellow unbeaten Tim Tszyu. Both are highly ranked under the WBO, with Tszyu sitting in the number two position and Kurbanov being ranked at six.
EKATERINBURG--Evgeny Tishchenko remains unbeaten as a pro, doing so with very little effort in his most recent outing. The locally-based 2016 Olympic Gold medalist tore through Scotland's John McCallum, scoring a 2nd round knockout in their heavyweight headliner Saturday evening at RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
In a year, plagued by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemics, with Russia being one of the epicenters of its second wave, RCC Boxing Promotions and famed local promoter German Titov has found a way to celebrate life with one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) boxing shows in Russia in 2020. It will take place in Titov’s boxing stronghold, at the RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia, on November the 7th.
For a proper example of the “new normal” one can go no further than a pro boxing card, staged tonight in Ekaterinburg by German Titov and RCC Boxing Promotions. The tripleheader featured only domestic clashes with the RCC intrinsic collision in its main event. Former world title challenger Zaur Abdullaev came out as the winner of the day with a dominating, knockdown-filled performance against fellow lightweight contender Pavel Malikov.
Former WBA super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (22-2, 15 KOs) is looking for a firm comeback to the very top of the world even (all the more so) if this means a collision with arguably the #1 fighter in the world P4P.
At 39, Tomas “Gusano” Rojas isn’t what he once used to be - but he is still capable of testing young fighter and prospects on the rise. Younger but fresher Tajik Mukhammadkhuja Yakubov (16-0, 9 KOs) experienced the present best of an always-tough former WBC super flyweight champion, as he cruised to a convincing but hard-fought unanimous decision in what was a huge learning experience for the 24-year old native of Isfara.
Hard-hitting fighters Khusseyn Baysangurov (15-1, 13 KOs) and Arman Torosyan (19-7-1, 16 KOs) will collide on February 28 at the Azimut Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the main event of a nice-packed little show, organized by Zyaki Yunisov of Yuka Promotions and bannered as “KO Kings 2”.
WBC/IBF light heavyweight unified champion Artur Beterbiev (15-0, 15 KOs) is preparing for his mandatory challenger Fanlong Meng (16-0, 10 KOs), whom he is scheduled to face on March 28 in Quebec City, Canada, his adopted homeland.
RCC Boxing Academy, Ekaterinburg, Russia - Winning is important. Impressing is too. In his fight versus dangerous Argentinean import Diego Gabriel Chaves, a familiar name not so long ago, Russian standout Magomed Kurbanov won but hardly impressed over twelve rounds, which ended in a unanimous decision in his favour.
