The top two slots in the BoxingScene pound-for-pound ratings, for now, remain secure. The next three slots are all up for grabs. The only thing that can be certain is that each man’s last name begins with the letter “M.”
Two of the “M’s” stand out as among the most accomplished veterans in the game, each a sure Hall of Fame entrant five years from the day they leave the scene. The other is a rocket across the boxing bow, an emergent force in his mid-30s who has put the total package together to the thrill of everyone watching.
