Nery (26-0, 20 KOs), 23 years old, has not fought since destroying former champion Shinsuke Yamanaka on March 1; However, he was unable to make the weight limit a day prior and lost his WBC bantamweight title on the scale.

Besides that, the weight issue forced the World Boxing Council to suspended him from their rankings.

Pabustan (29-5-6, 9 KOs) will reach the battle at 28 years old, and has a record of of six wins, three defeats and a draw in his last 10 outings to the ring. The Filipino has already had three fights away from home and in one of them he picked up a win in Japan.

This card is being put together by Zanfer Promotions to celebrate their 25 year anniversary of being in the boxing industry.

Really hope Nery can still make 118 and join the WBSS but I’m doubtful. If he does though I’m all in for Nery-Inoue that would be a f*cking incredible fight

Can’t stand this cheat. Someone needs to come a long and put him to sleep.

I wonder if it isn't - in a bit weird way - eliminator to WBSS... where it's not really about him proving himself against top opponent, but about him proving he can make 118 pounds limit.

If nery ain't careful and disciplined enough, he's gonna be a wasted talent,he's damaged his reputation already..however a fight with rey vargas should be intriguing if he steps up and stop being a weight bully
