Logan Paul: Canelo is Salty He Lost & I Get Chance To Beat Mayweather!

Youtuber star Logan Paul has verbally exploded in response to the recent statements that were made by Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez.

Canelo was critical of the recently finalized exhibition fight between Paul and former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather - which takes place on February 20th on pay-per-view.

Mayweather handed Canelo his only career defeat, a one-sided twelve round decision in September of 2013.

Canelo explained that he views the bouts, like Mayweather-Paul, as money-grabs.

"Ya know, it’s all about the money," Canelo told TMZ through a translator ... "I don’t think we would agree that people that are basketball players, that are YouTubers [should] get [boxing] licenses. Ya know, I don’t criticize. This is a very risky sport, and if you go up there, it’s very risky."

With Logan's brother, Youtuber Jake Paul, calling out top fighters for a high-profile boxing match -- Canelo made it clear that he would not be down for a quick payday.

"No," Canelo said... "I truly believe that it’s a lack of respect. It’s all based on money. It’s all for money. I’m focused right now on other projects."

"I have other stuff going on, and I would invite him for a sparring session so that he truly knows what it’s all about."

Canelo views these exhibition bouts as being disrespectful to the sport.

"For true fighters, I do believe it is a lack of respect," Canelo said.

In response, Paul dug in deep as he brought up Canelo's drug testing drama from 2018. Canelo tested positive, twice, for the banned weight cutting agent clenbuterol. He was given a six month suspension.

During that entire ordeal, Canelo stood firm that his positive tests were a direct result of eating tainted meat.

"I think he’s the guy that got caught using steroids twice," Paul said on the Night Shift Gaming stream. "We want to talk about disrespecting boxing, talk about a guy who didn’t play by the rules.

"To say we’re disrespecting the sport, I feel disrespected especially as it’s coming from a guy who quite literally disrespected and spit on the ethics of the sport. Yeah, it upsets me."

Paul believes Canelo is still stewing from the decision loss to Mayweather.

"F--k you. Suck a d-ck," Paul added. "I think he’s salty because I get a chance to beat Mayweather and he lost to him. That’s his one loss."

"Just 'cause we're attempting to do something and put on a great show and putting in the work, doesn't mean you have to sh-t on us. Like, what the f--k, bro?"
————— Floyd is a WW. He moved up in weight to fight Canelo. Can Canelo drop to 147 or even 154 to fight Floyd so he can hurt him? Or what weight class do you have in mind?
162 catch…

Jake Paul isn’t calling out top boxers. He don’t want that smoke. Alvared who is a idiot should just beat down both Paul’s in one night and charity pay a lot of Mexican families in need 🥊

I think Mayweather needs to solve a Rubik’s cube in the ring with gloves on while getting the KO to make it interesting.
