The coach of middleweight contender Kyrone Davis, Stephen “Breadman” Edwards, says judge John McKaie should be made to explain his scorecard last weekend, having judged Elijah Garcia to be a wider winner over Davis.
Kyrone Davis scored the win of his career against prospect Elijah Garcia, while former featherweight titleholder Mark Magsayo outpointed Eduardo Ramirez at junior lightweight at the MGM Grand on Saturday.
Elijah Garcia is hoping to get back on track when he fights for the first time this year at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday, when he'll face the gifted Kyrone Davis.
Middleweight contender Elijah Garcia is out of tomorrow’s fight with Kyrone Davis “due to a sickness.”
In a battle between unbeaten prospects, Curmel Moton will take on Anthony Cuba in a six-round junior lightweight tilt on the non-televised undercard of the Tim Tszyu-Sebastian Fundora fight Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Kyrone Davis has a lofty goal. First, however, he must upset undefeated middleweight contender Elijah Garcia, an undercard fight on the Tim Tszyu-Sebastian Fundora card March 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Although he considers his optimal weight class to be middleweight, Davis, 29, has contested three of his five bouts since 2021 at super middleweight or above.
Middleweight Elijah Garcia has high hopes for 2024. Garcia will fight veteran Kyrone Davis in the main event of the Amazon Prime prelims before Tim Tyszu-Sebastian Fundora PPV card on Saturday, March 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
