Welterweight contender Kudratillo Abdukakhorov won a 12 round unanimous decision over Laszlo Toth Saturday night at the One City Grand Ballroom in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Abdukakhorov, who has also gone by the name Qudratillo Abduqaxorov, landed the more telling blows throughout most of the fight.

Abdukakhorov (14-0, 9 knockouts) was deducted a point in round nine after an accidental clash of heads opened a cut above the left eye of Toth. Since a WBC regional title belt was on the line, the sanctioning body's absurd rule on point deductions from fighters who are not cut was in effect.

Scores were 118-109, 117-110, and 116-111 for Abdukakhorov, who is originally from Uzbekistan and now resides in Kuala Lumpur.

The 24-year-old Abdukakhorov is ranked number six by the WBC, and number seven by the WBA and the IBF.

Toth, who resides in Sophon, Hungary, drops to 25-4-1, 17 KOs.

In super middleweight action, Azizbek Abdugofurov won an eight round unanimous decision over Alfonso Tissen (10-2-2, 5 KOs) of South Africa.

Scores were 77-75, 78-74, and 79-73 for Abdugofurov, who improves to 10-0, 4 KOs.

Both Abdukahrorov and Abdugofurov are managed by Vikram Swapragasam.
