Jan Paul Rivera proved too strong for Andy Beltran in a thrilling encounter Friday at Coliseo Roger L. Mendoza in Caguas, Puerto Rico, recording a competitive unanimous decision win.

Krystal Rosado, the first fighter signed by Puerto Rican future-Hall-of-Famer Amanda Serrano, will head up the undercard of Most Valuable Prospects 9 in Caguas on October 11. Rosado (4-0, 2 KOs) will take on Mexico's Perla Lomeli (6-2) in a six round junior featherweight clash on a card headlined by a featherweight contest between Jan Paul Rivera (10-0, 6 KOs) and Andy “Skeletor” Beltran (8-0, 5 KOs).

The next edition of “Most Valuable Prospects” will take place in Caguas, Puerto Rico, on Oct. 11, headlined by three MVP boxers as part of a collaboration with Puerto Rico's Amanda Serrano.

Undefeated heavyweight Gurgen "Big Gug" Hovhannisyan will take on Robert Hall Jr. in the main event of MVP's Most Valuable Prospects 7 on July 26.

In a contest that was closely contested and hard-fought without ever truly catching light, Jonathan Gonzalez retained his WBO junior flyweight title via unanimous decision over Rene Santiago at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Krystal Rosado is prepared to apply the movements of her mentor, manager and boxing idol to her own career. The first-year pro will box four, three-minute rounds for her upcoming March 2 junior bantamweight bout versus Los Angeles’ Gloria Munguilla at Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan. It will be part of a DAZN show headlined by Amanda Serrano, Rosado’s manager, who defends her lineal and unified featherweight championship versus IBF mandatory challenger Nina Meinke.

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) will make her return to Puerto Rico vs. IBF mandatory challenger Nina Meinke (18-3, 4 KOs) on Saturday, March 2, at the legendary Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, live globally on DAZN.

Krystal Rosado shook off the sight of her own blood to remain perfect in the infancy of her pro career. The former amateur standout and current junior bantamweight hopeful went the distance in a four-round shutout victory over Kata Pap. All three judges scored the contest 40-36 for Rosado in their DAZN-aired contest Friday evening at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

The terms of the fight are longer but the weigh-in process was the same business for Amanda Serrano. The record-setting seven-division titlist was once again under the limit for a featherweight championship fight. Serrano tipped the scales at a shredded 125.7 pounds for her WBO title consolidation bout versus Danila Ramos, who was a fighting ready 124.6 pounds.

The supporting cast for the next entry in Amanda Serrano’s historic career will include her own protégé as well as a crossroads bout between an Olympian and a former major titlist BoxingScene.com has confirmed that 2016 U.S, Olympian and bantamweight contender Antonio Vargas will meet former WBA flyweight titlist Hernan ‘Tyson’ Marquez in a scheduled ten-round regional bantamweight title fight. The bout will headline the preliminary undercard preceding the October 27 DAZN main show where Serrano (45-2-1, 30KOs) defends her lineal and unified featherweight championship versus interim WBO titlist Danila Ramos. Serrano-Ramos is scheduled for twelve, three-minute rounds atop a four-fight DAZN telecast from Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Confirmed for the main show, unbeaten lightweights Alexander Rios (7-0, 4KOs) and Benigno Aguilar (10-0, 4KOs) meet in a scheduled six-round contest. Rounding out the main undercard telecast, the Serrano-managed Krystal Rosado is set for her second pro fight. The former amateur standout from Puerto Rico will appear in a bout versus an opponent to be determined. Rosado (1-0, 1KO) made her pro debut at this very venue in an August 18 knockout win on the Most Valuable Promotions (MVP)-presented second edition of the MVProspects series.
