Welterweight contender Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is waiting for a date, and opponent for his fall return. Khan is looking to come back on a date in December.

Talks are still taking place for Khan to fight eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao in the first quarter of 2016, but those discussions seem to be dragging out and they don't appear to be going well.

There are some opponents who Khan would like to fight in his division, including WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, WBA 'regular' champion Keith Thurman and IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook.

None of those fights are in the books for the fall. Thurman is heading into a fight with Shawn Porter in December. Bradley returns on November 7th to fight Brandon Rios, and Brook just suffered an injury and withdrew from a fight on the table for this Saturday with Diego Chaves and the bout will be rescheduled in the coming months.

"I would love to fight with Bradley, I like his style and it is a fight that I hope will happen in the future. Keith Thurman is also a good possibility, it would also be a good fight. Kell Brook, I'm sure that would be a great event in England. I'm in a great position where I can pick some big names but many don't want to fight me," Khan told ESPN Deportes.
