WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan has once again decided to defend his title on satelitte pay-per-view channel PrimetimeTV after electing not to build bridges with Sky Box Office following their public spat in the build-up to the 24 year-old’s previous defence against Irishman Paul McCloskey.

The Bolton fighter is hoping to unify the 140lb division on July 23rd against the dangerous IBF champion Zab Judah at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, with the bout available to viewers on Sky Channel 480 for £14.95. Judah, 33, is arguably Khan’s toughest test to date and Sky will surely see it as a sign of things to come that Khan is again fighting on the rival channel.

The former Olympic silver medallist was due to fight McCloskey on Sky Box Office, where the title holder has fought all of his PPV fights, until Sky pulled the plug on the fights PPV status when the undercard fell apart. Khan still believed his fight was a PPV rated fight and decided to switch to Primetime and it looks like that’s where he will stay.
