Former junior welterweight champion Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) is scheduled to return to the ring on December 6th at a venue to be determined in the United States. Contender Josesito Lopez has been rumored to be the leading candidate to be his opponent but Khan said that he is also interested in facing Devon Alexander and Robert Guerrero.

"I left it with my manager Al Haymon. There's Guerrero and Alexander. I will fight anyone. You guys know that I will fight anyone," said Khan.

I also asked Khan about the November matchup between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri. It is no secret that Khan has wanted a fight against the Filipino superstar even though promotional issues make the fight very unlikely to happen. Khan said that he doesn't see Pacquiao having any problems with Algieri.

"It is a good fight. Pacquiao is a good friend of mine. Algieri is a good boxer but I don't think he's got the tools to beat Manny Pacquiao," Khan told Boxingscene.com.
