Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa - In the final fight of the Super Four Cruiserweight tournament, Kevin Lerena (16-1, 8KOs) won a twelve round majority decision over previously undefeated Micki Nielsen (22-1, 14KOs).

The fight was very close and many felt it could have gone either way. Lerena got the edge with two of the three scorecards - with tallies of 95-95, 96-95 and 97-93.

To get to the Super Four finals, Lerena won a decision over Roberto Feliciano Bolonti back in June, while on the same card Nielsen defeated Johnny Muller.

Returning for the first time since his shocking upset loss to Byron Rojas in March, former WBA/IBO minimumweight champion Hekkie Budler (29-2, 9KOs) turned back a tough challenge from Siyabonga Siyo (10-2).

Budler walked away with a twelve round decision victory with scores of 118-110, 116-112, 116-112.

Chris Van Heerden (25-2-1, 12KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Sacky Shikukutu (22-4) for the vacant WBA Pan African welterweight title.

The victory is the second win in a row for Van Heerden since getting stopped by Errol Spence Jr. last September in Ontario, Canada. Van Heerden stunned Steve Claggett by decision back in April in Las Vegas.
