Kevin Lele Sadjo's much anticipated defense of the EBU super middleweight title against former WBA champ Giovanni De Carolis, that was set for Marseille (France) this coming Saturday (Dec 2), is now off.

De Carolis (33-10-1) appears to have suffered a shoulder injury and withdrew from the fight this past weekend, writes Italian website Boxeringweb.

Lele Sadjo is 20-0 with 18 early endings and this was to be the third defense of the title he won by stopping Jack Cullen.

However, on very short notice, Y 12 Boxing, headed by Yohan Zaoui, has secured the services of Argentinian Abraham Buonarrgio (12-4) and Lele Sadjo will thus defend his "other" title, the WBO Intercontinental belt.

This show is also the French debut for DAZN.

Adam Azim's defense of the EBU super lightweight title against Dane Enoch Poulsen (14-0) will, according to the EBU, go ahead February 3 in London with Boxxer as promoter.

Boxxer has yet to make an official announcement.

Azim (10-0) won the title on November 18 after stopping Franck Petitjean (24-7-3).

Big German heavyweights Daniel Dietz (11-0) and Felix Langberg meet on December 16 in Karlsruhe (Germany) with the vacant IBF and IBO European straps at stake.

Langberg (13-1) lost the WBA Continental title earlier this year but there are so many "European" titles around these days, so there's always another belt.

The fight for the vacant EBU light heavyweight title between Daniel Blenda dos Santos (21-1) and Mickael Diallo (20-2-1) that was set for December 2 in Pont Sainte Maxence (France) is cancelled after dos Santos has experienced breathing difficulties after suffering from COVID-19.

Dos Santos is now removed as official challenge and Englishman Lerrone Richards (18-0) is back in.

The EBU has set December 18 as deadline for purse bids or agreements.
