Oscar De La Hoya, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, admits he was shocked while watching last Saturday's fight between Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) and Kell Brook (36-1, 25KOs).

Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) saw 'nothing special' about last Saturday's big win by WBA/IBO/IBF/WBC middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs).

Boxing Superstar and Unified Middleweight World Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin’s, (36-0, 33KO’s), fifth round stoppage of previously undefeated UK Superstar, “The Special One” Kell Brook, (36-1, 25KO’s) was viewed by a combined 1,436,000 viewers on HBO World Championship Boxing this past Saturday, September 10, marking it as the most watched HBO boxing event in 2016 and the highest rated HBO international boxing telecast in many years viewed live by 843,000 fans and same-day rebroadcast by 593,000 viewers.

This past Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, IBF/IBO/WBC/WBA middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) and IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-1, 25KOs) took part in what GGG called "a crazy street fight."

The Gennady Golovkin-Kell Brook fight Saturday turned out to be more competitive and entertaining than many skeptics expected. Those that did tune in to watch it live – an average of 843,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research – were treated to a back-and-forth battle Golovkin won by fifth-round technical knockout at O2 Arena in London. The live rating was lower than most Golovkin bouts because it aired live at earlier times than usual in the United States (about 6 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. PT).

Dominic Ingle, trainer of IBF welterweight champion Kell 'Special K' Brook (36-1, 25KOs), has reacted to the recent comments that were made by British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (23-1, 18KOs).

While Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) successfully defended his middleweight belts this past weekend by stopping Kell Brook in five rounds at the O2 Arena in London, England - it was far from his sharpest performance.

The pairing, indirect this time, of middleweight Gennady Golovkin and now Jr. bantamweight Roman Gonzalez delivered again on Saturday. As has been the case for most of this pairing, Golovkin delivers more spectacle in lieu of worthy adversaries.

Last week, rumors surfaced all over the place - claiming that Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) was under the weather as his fight approached with IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-1, 25KOs).

There was a bit of controversy when trainer Dominic Ingle decided to call off the fight in the fifth round of Kell Brook showdown with middleweight king Gennady Golovkin from this past weekend at the O2 Arena in London, England.
