Keith Thurman Faces Orlando Lora on Broner-Escobedo

BoxingScene.com has been advised that Keith Thurman (17-0, 16KOs) will face Orlando Lora (29-2-2, 19KOs) in the co-feature slot to the Adrien Broner-Vicente Escobedo HBO televised headliner at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thurman as originally scheduled to fight Marcos Maidana, who recently withdrew from the fight.

glad Marcos puuled out as it was a big Jr middle/middle vs a blown up welter...Thurman strong& w/power but has not really learned/absorbed much the past few yrs...poor opposition always..ck a few of his early bouts & his last 2…
