LAS VEGAS – Nahir Albright sabotaged Karlos Balderas’ comeback Friday night. Though clearly the B side in their eight-round lightweight fight, Albright beat Balderas by majority decision and produced the biggest win of his career on the Seniesa Estrada-Leonela Yudica undercard at Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Theater. Judge Chris Migliore scored their very competitive contest a draw (76-76), but judges Lisa Giampa (77-75) and Dave Moretti (77-75) scored five rounds apiece for Albright.

Seniesa Estrada soaked in the ambiance for the weigh-in ahead of her first headlining act. Making weight was the easy part for the unbeaten WBC and WBA strawweight champion, who was a fighting fit 104.4 pounds for her upcoming title defense. Estrada meets former IBF flyweight titleholder Leonela Paola Yudica, who was a career lightest 103.7 pounds.

Pound-for-pound dynamo Seniesa "Super Bad” Estrada will defend her WBC and WBA minimumweight world titles against Argentina’s former world champion Leonela Yudica on Friday, July 28 at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Gigantic heavyweight prospect Antonio Mireles made quick work of Eric Perry on Saturday night in Las Vegas. The 6-foot-9, 269.6-pound Mireles dropped and stopped Eric Perry just 2:26 into their six-round fight at Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater. ESPN+ streamed Mireles’ win as the first of eight undercard bouts before Janibek

Denzel Bentley simply smiled as Janibek Alimkhanuly intensely stared into his eyes Friday afternoon. Alimkhanuly assured his optional challenger that he won’t have much to smile about Saturday night when they fight in Las Vegas. Kazakhstan’s Alimkhanuly predicted another knockout in a 12-round main event ESPN+ will stream.

WBO middleweight world champion Janibek “Qazaq Style” Alimkhanuly, a southpaw power puncher from Kazakhstan, will make the first defense of his title against two-time British champion Denzel Bentley on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Janibek Alimkhanuly and Danny Dignum weren’t separated by much height or weight Friday afternoon in Las Vegas. The odds on their 12-round middleweight title fight Saturday night suggest, though, that Alimkhanuly is superior to Dignum in every other way. Kazakhstan’s Alimkhanuly, who weighed in at 160 pounds, is at least an 11-1 favorite over Dignum, who stepped on the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s scale at 159 pounds.

Tiger Johnson has been ready for prime time ever since representing the U.S. at last summer’s Tokyo Olympics. The welterweight standout will get a chance to put his skills on display in prime time as he fights an opponent to be named in a six-round special feature Saturday, May 21, at the Resorts World Event Center at Resorts World Las Vegas. Johnson’s bout will open the ESPN telecast of the Janibek Alimkhanuly-Danny Dignum WBO Interim middleweight world title bout.
