Kaizer Mabuza Knocks Out Kendall Holt in Six Rounds

By Mark Vester

At Ballys Casino in Atlantic City, junior welterweight contender Kaizer Mabuza (23-6-3, 14 KOs) stopped former champion Kendall Holt (25-4, 13 KOs) in six rounds. After Holt got off to a good start in the first two rounds, Mabuza began to punish Holt over the next couple of rounds with very hard power punches. Holt was unable to come out for the seventh round. The fight was an IBF eliminator. Holt's status as a serious contender might be over after this loss.

with back to back losses I don't see much left for Holt to do at 140 .. it'll be a long road back to contention maybe he does what Randall Bailey did after a loss and moves to Welter?
holt is like a right-handed judah, complete with similar mental makeup and chin. he's still a talented and dangerous fighter for anyone at 140 though. hes just unpredictable.
poor Bradon Jacobs he handles Kendall Holt
