In the final minute of the round, Smith once again rallied with a series of punches that shook Williams up. There was another clash of heads that created a new cut around the left eye of Smith.

A very hard left rattled Smith, but he then came firing back with a lot of punches in the final ten seconds to likely steal the round.

In the tenth and final round, Williams came out pressing the action and pushing Smith back. There was another clash of heads that hurt Smith and break was called by the referee. When the action resumed they were trading some heavy punches and each fighter was having their moments, but Smith seemed to be busier and landing more punches when the bell rang to signal the end of the fight.
