The weights are in for the highly anticipated rematch between Brandon Rios (31-0-1, 23KOs) and Mike Alvarado (33-1, 23KOs). Alvarado was 140-pounds, while Rios was 140.5-pounds on his first try and then stripped down to make 140 even. The WBO interim-junior welterweight title will be at stake. Rios stopped Alvarado in the seventh round last year in their Fight of The Year brawl. HBO will televise. There were a lot of fans in the house who came down from Denver to support Alvarado at the Mandalay Bay in Las vegas.

Texas Station Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada - Diego Magdaleno (20-0, 7KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Alejandro Perez (15-3-1, 10KOs) to retain the NABF super featherweight title. Magdaleno was down in round one. The scores were 98-90, 99-90 and 98-91.

In the first bout of the evening, featherweight Ivan Castellanos (1-1, 0KOs) won four round unanimous decision over Antonio Hernandez (1-2-1, 0KOs) in an action-packed fight with back and forth brawling. The scores were 39-36, 39-36 and 38-37.
