Joseph Agbeko Decisions Yonnhy Perez, Reclaims Title

By Chris LaBate

At the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington, Joseph Agbeko (27-2, 22KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Yonnhy Perez (20-1-1, 24KOs) to recapture the IBF bantamweight title. The scores 116-112, 117-111 and 115-113 for Agbeko. Agbeko was not the same fighter as in the first contest. He used his boxing skills and stiff jab to win the majority of the rounds. Agbeko will now meet Abner Mares in the final bout of Showtime's bantamweight tournament. The first bout was won by Perez in October 2009 by unanimous decision

I have Mares winning the final (if Mares can find his form that he had under Nacho) then the winning has a rematch with Perez (since Mares has a draw and Agbeko and win and a loss) Showtimes tournaments are…
