ProBox TV’s Wednesday Night Fights returns tomorrow with a 10-round main event between Jonhatan Cardoso and Eduardo Ramirez, with both fighters making weight at today’s weigh-in.

The fight card begins at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, and is available on the ProBox TV app and YouTube.

Cardoso, 17-1 (15 KOs), tipped the scales at 134.4lbs, while Ramirez weighed in at 135lbs. Cardoso, 25, has won three in a row - including a split-decision victory over Adam Lopez in May on ProBox TV - since suffering his only pro loss. Ramirez, 28-4-3 (13 KOs), is 1-2 in his last three fights, though those losses came against elite opponents in Mark Magsayo and Isaac Cruz. Ramirez, 31, aims to regain momentum in what is a 50-50 matchup.

The co-feature marks the return of unbeaten featherweight Luis Nunez, 19-0 (13 KOs). Nunez, 25, ends a year-and-a-half layoff but missed weight, coming in at 129.8lbs for a bout contracted at 128lbs. His opponent, Leonardo Baez, 21-5 (12 KOs), weighed in at 126.8lbs. Baez, 29, enters as the underdog but hopes to capitalize on Nunez’s extended absence.

Bantamweight prospect Katsuma Akitsugi, 11-0 (2 KOs), also struggled at the scale, coming in .2lbs over the bantamweight limit. His opponent, 33-year-old Aston Palicte, 28-6-1 (23 KOs), a former junior bantamweight title challenger from the Philippines, made weight at 117.4lbs.
