Promoter Javier Bustillo revealed that junior middleweight prospect Jonathan Gonzalez (16-0-1, 13KOs), who has not fought since January, has an offer to fight for the World Youth title of the International Boxing Federation on July 27th in Ghana, according to Carlos Narvaez.
But the offer has already been on the table for three weeks and the last day for Gonzalez to respond is Friday. A few months ago, Gonzalez appeared to be looking for a release from his promotional contract but Bustillo says that won't happen.
