"Miss GB" Natasha Jones moved to (3-0, 3 KOs) with a knockout win over a seriously overmatched Marianna Gulyas (14-27, 2 KOs) at York Hall tonight.
Jonas stamped her authority from the opening bell against the 30-year-old Hungarian who may have been having her 41st fight, but who looked like a novice.
Whether it was the jab, the straight left or the one-two, Jonas was levels above Gulyas who rarely gave any answer to Jonas's attacks or even her fundamentals.
Jonas dictated matters and the ungamely Gulyas touched down in the second round of this six-round bout before visiting the canvas again after some cuffing shots proved too much for her.
Into the third round and Jonas ended matters. The contest had 'matter of time' written all over it from the get-go and Jonas's class was too much landing a big right hand before another straight left put Gulyas down with less than a minute to go.
Jonas revealed afterwards that she will return on December 17 as part of the Tony Bellew-David Haye 2 undercard.
"You're always learning (with) every bout you're in," Jonas said in her ringside interview. "I was relaxed tonight and boxed a lot better than I did in Liverpool.
"I'd love to get the opportunity to box someone who was a step up.
"I've got the best sparring in the world and the gym has made me the boxer I am today."
Her trainer Joe Gallagher added: "A massive tick in the box to box here at York Hall. Next stop December 17, Might be look at stepping her up there in a title fight."
