Cecilia Braekhus and Jessica McCaskill will help break new ground for DAZN-USA, as their bout will now serve as the main event on August 15, live from downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their forthcoming welterweight title fight—which will take place at a 145-pound catchweight—marks the first time that a female bout will headline a stateside event for the sports streaming service since it broke ground in the U.S. in 2018.
Julio Cesar Martinez will defend his WBC World Flyweight title against #1 ranked McWilliams Arroyo as Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing USA return to action in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday August 15, exclusively live on DAZN in the US.
'No Days Off' was the title of a recent video series documenting the life in training camp of Jessica McCaskill (8-2); the phrase is also a way of life for the thirty-five year-old and her manager/trainer, Rick Ramos. Training out of the Body Shot Boxing Club in Chicago, the WBA & WBC super-lightweight World champion is on a collision course with the Undisputed, IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC & WBO welterweight World champion, Cecilia Braekhus. The postponed fight was originally scheduled for April 17th and McCaskill is raring to secure a new date for the fight.
Cecilia Braekhus wants to continue to tread new ground and break down more barriers as she talks to Chris Lloyd in the latest episode of Matchroom Boxing’s Podcast ‘The Lockdown Tapes’. Baekhus (36-0 9 KOs) has dominated the welterweight division for 11 years now, and should her proposed clash with Jessica McCaskill (8-2 3 KOs) go ahead when boxing returns, victory for the ‘First Lady’ will see the Norwegian sensation break Joe Louis record of 25 consecutive world title defenses, with the 38 year old’s record stretching back to her first World title fight in her 11th pro outing in March 2009.

Chantelle Cameron is priming herself for a world title-laden 2020 and wants to spearhead another surge in the popularity of women’s boxing. Having won WBC final eliminators in two separate divisions last year, Cameron is poised for world title mega-fights against the likes of Katie Taylor and Jessica McCaskill in 2020.
Katie Taylor is not a subject off limits to Chantelle Cameron, but it is one she has spent a long-time discussing. One thing Cameron is determined not to do, however, is let Taylor upset her own career plans.
Chantelle Cameron can become a mandatory world title challenger in a second weight division on November 9. Having already become WBC No. 1 and earned a shot at Katie Taylor by outclassing the fearsome Anisha Basheel, undefeated ‘Il Capo’ (11-0, 7 KOs) is preparing to collide with Anahi Ester Sanchez (19-4, 11 KOs) on a colossal #MTKFightNight at York Hall.
