Former unified junior middleweight champion Jeison Rosario is eager to bounce back when he faces top contender Erickson “Hammer” Lubin in a WBC super welterweight title eliminator.

Four-time world champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis will take on a career-defining challenge as he sets his sights on capturing a title in a third weight class when he faces undefeated WBA Super Lightweight Champion Mario “El Azteca” Barrios in a SHOWTIME PPV main event Saturday, June 26 at the award-winning State Farm Arena in Atlanta in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions.

By Keith Idec - Gervonta Davis’ move up to the 140-pound division is official. Premier Boxing Champions and Showtime announced Thursday that the undefeated Davis will meet Mario Barrios in a Showtime Pay-Per-View main event June 26 at a site to be determined. The four-fight show also will include an intriguing 12-round, 154-pound bout between former IBF/IBO/WBA champ Jeison Rosario and Erickson Lubin.

Last week, BoxingScene.com's Keith Idec broke the news that former champion Jeison "Banana" Rosario (20-2-1) and former title challenger Erickson "The Hammer" Lubin (23-1) had agreed to terms for a late spring showdown. The fight will be broadcast by Showtime with the date likely falling in May or June.

Erickson Lubin and Jeison Rosario have agreed to meet in a high-stakes junior middleweight fight. BoxingScene.com has learned that Showtime will televise the 12-round, 154-pound bout between Lubin and Rosario, although the date and the site for their fight have not been determined. The premium cable network has not announced any boxing broadcasts beyond its April 10 show, which will feature welterweights Jaron Ennis and Sergey Lipinets in the main event from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Erickson "The Hammer" Lubin (23-1) is hoping to have a big 2021 after having only 1 fight in 2020. Such was the case for most fighters as the coronavirus pandemic wreaked havoc all over the world.

Former unified junior middleweight champion Jeison Rosario returned home on Monday and was met by reporters at the Puerto Las Americas Airport in the Dominican Republic. This past Saturday night, Rosario staked his IBF, WBA world titles in a unification with WBC champion Jermell Charlo.

Saturday’s CHARLO DOUBLEHEADER main events featuring the world champion Charlo twins will air on SHOWTIME this Saturday, October 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. WBC Middleweight World Champion Jermall Charlo passed his toughest test to date with high marks, earning a skilled and disciplined unanimous decision victory over Sergiy Derevyanchenko while twin brother Jermell Charlo unified the WBC, WBA and IBF 154-pound titles with a spectacular knockout against Jeison Rosario.

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut – Jermell Charlo hopes the impressive victories he and his brother delivered Saturday night will sway their detractors. The IBF/WBA/WBC 154-pound champion admits that the negative energy from their doubters has provided plenty of motivation during their respective runs in the junior middleweight and middleweight divisions. He still wants the respect he is certain that the Houston natives earned by winning fights that were considered dangerous.
