Former WBO welterweight world champion Jeff Horn is hoping to land another world title opportunity in his next fight.

Horn is coming off last month's stunning revenge win, where he scored two knockdowns to secure a ten round decision over Michael Zerafa in their middleweight rematch.

Two of the biggest options for Horn are both on domestic soil - a showdown with rising star Tim Tszyu or a trilogy fight with Michael Zerafa.

Before his TKO defeat in the first bout with Zerafa, Horn was being lined up for a clash with WBA "regular" middleweight champion Ryota Murata of Japan.

On the domestic end, the 25-year-old son of Hall of Famer Kostya Kostya is growing to become a lucrative option for Horn.

Both Horn and his promoter, Dean Lonergan, are not confident the young Tszyu would be physically ready for such a contest with his limited experience with top opponents.

"Tim's an impressive fighter. He's done well," Horn said.

"He's fought some impressive opposition. He's impressing people out there and that's what you need to do in boxing He's definitely wanting to jump in the deep end, with no floaties on either. Tim Tszyu has definitely got the skills to go up there and fight with the best, but whether he's got it yet, I just don't know."

In terms of a trilogy with Zerafa, the 31-year-old Horn would rather secure a world title fight or set up the clash with Tszyu.

"I'm sure there's a lot bigger fights we can take other than Michael Zerafa," Horn said.

"World titles are where it's at. That's what you want in boxing. If I had a choice - Tim Tszyu or a world title, I'd go the world title."
