Jazza Dickens looks set for a longer stint Stateside.

The former British super-bantamweight champion, who has also challenged for a world title, is meant to fight Brad Foster for the vacant Lonsdale belt in London next month.

Dickens is awaiting a date and venue for the clash with the Lichfield man and has in the meantime revealed that he has signed a deal to fight across the Pond after a successful spell in Miami.

The 25-3 (10 KOs) southpaw, 27, who stopped Miguel Encarnacion inside a round in Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic earlier this month, revealed the news via social media.

“I’ve committed my future to boxing here in Miami at the 5th St. Gym,” Dickens said. “Boxing in the States has always been a dream. The first time I knew about this place, I was aged 12, reading a Muhammad Ali book during detention at school.

“I've sacrificed a lot to be here, being away from my family, which hasn’t been easy for me. But God has rewarded me kindly and put me in a great position to win world titles.”

Dickens, who will return to the ring Stateside in 2019 after spending Christmas back in the UK with his family and friends, will be managed and trained by Chiro Perez and Dino Spencer and promoted by Paco Damian.
