Thomas Dulorme and Jamal James made weight Friday almost four months after they initially were supposed to fight.

Minneapolis’ James officially weighed 145.8 pounds for their 12-round, 147-pound title fight Saturday night at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Las Vegas’ Dulorme stepped on the California State Athletic Commission’s scale at 146.2 pounds.

James, 32, and Dulorme, 30, will fight for the WBA interim welterweight title in the main event of FOX’s tripleheader.

Dulorme (25-3-1, 16 KOs) and James (26-1, 12 KOs) originally were supposed to fight April 11 at The Armory in Minneapolis. That event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

James is the WBA’s fifth-ranked welterweight contender. Dulorme is rated 10th by the WBA.

Earlier Friday, Lennox Allen and David Morrell Jr. met their contractual obligations for the first fight FOX will air as part of a telecast set to start at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Brooklyn’s Allen (22-0-1, 14 KOs) came in at 166.8 pounds for their 12-round fight. Cuba’s Morrell (2-0, 2 KOs) weighed in at 164.6 pounds.

Allen, 35, and Morrell, 22, are set to fight for the WBA interim super middleweight title. The WBA has ranked Allen number one among its 168-pound contenders, two spots atop the third-rated Morrell.

Also Friday, Omar Juarez (7-0, 4 KOs) and Willie Shaw (12-1, 8 KOs) made weight for an eight-round junior welterweight fight FOX will televise between the Dulorme-James and Allen-Morrell matches.

The 21-year-old Juarez, of Brownsville, Texas, weighed 140.6 pounds. The 28-year-old Shaw, of Vallejo, California, came in at 140.4 pounds.
