Less than a week remains, as Daniel Jacobs gets ready to collide with Canelo Alvarez in arguably the biggest fight of the first half of 2019 - with the IBF, WBC, WBA middleweight titles at stake.
The contest takes place on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. DAZN will be streaming the fight live.
Jacobs (35-2, 29 KOs), based on styles, is regarded by some experts as the toughest test to date for Canelo (51-1-2, 35 KOs).
Jacobs believes that Canelo has several weaknesses that are going to be exploited on the night of the fight.
After studying numerous videos, Jacobs believes that he's been able to find several points in Canelo's style that he can take advantage of.
Jacobs plans to use his physical advantages to take down Canelo.
"Recently, Canelo uploaded videos of him on social networks hitting the bag, doing different types of boxing training and people responded: 'Oh! Wow! He looks in excellent shape! He's going to be a monster on the night of the fight.' But I was focusing on his knees and his problems, what being an athlete is about," Jacobs said.
"There is very little you can think about, you know, it will be a fight and then you could say that you can do one or the other. I hope to exploit some of those things and I know that he will also offer the best of himself, but it is inevitable to overlook some of his flaws. With my team, we have created not only Plan A, Plan B and Plan C, but some plans to exploit the weaknesses of Canelo.
"What I know is that I have the physical advantages and I hope to use my physical advantage, my reach, height, distance, and also that I have speed, power, intellect in the ring, just as I feel that is what will allow me to emerge victorious."
