WBO super bantamweight champion Isaac Dogboe (19-0, 13 KOs) is looking to capture more world titles in the coming future.
Dogboe made a statement to the boxing world last month, when he overcame a first round knockdown to rally down the stretch and stop undefeated Jessie Magdaleno in the eleventh round to capture the WBO title.
Dogboe is hoping to make his first world title defense in August - and he prefers to fight one of the other world champions.
Dogboe promised to stop Magdaleno inside the distance and he made good on that promise.
Experts first took notice of Dogboe last fall, when he knocked out Cesar Juarez in a final eliminator.
Three weeks after becoming the youngest champion in Ghana's boxing history, the 23-year-old boxer is looking to challenge himself even further.
Now he wants to get his hands on champions like Rey Vargas and Daniel Roman.
"At this time, after my discussion with Top Rank, what my father made me understand is that in August I could go back to the ring," Dogboe said to Michael Oti Adjei.
"Then we will seek to unify the division, fight with other world champions in the division and then we will see what is next. I would like to fight against WBC champion Rey Vargas because he avoided me a while ago ... and there is Ryosuke Iwasa from Japan, he is the IBF champion, in addition to Daniel Roman, he is the WBA champion. the guys that are on the list."
And if Magdaleno wants a rematch, Dogboe has no issue with obliging him with that.
"I mean, if he wants a rematch, it will be great because if he could not beat me the first time, there's no way he can beat me a second time," Dogboe said.
"I would not have to think about what comes to me because we already discovered their weaknesses, we discovered everything we need to know about him, so I think at that moment it will even be a knockout faster than the previous one."
