As well as sharing a manager with Manny Pacquiao, Isaac Cruz is also sharing a bill with the fighting icon this weekend.

BoxingScene's David Greisman takes us through one of the busiest fight weekends of the year.

The first fight between Cruz and Fierro was a Fight of the Year contender. Their rematch on the Mario Barrios-Manny Pacquiao promises more of the same.

Mexican slugger Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz has become one of the most popular boxers in the world, in what manager Sean Gibbons has called “Pitbullmania."

“I still can’t believe I am sharing a PPV card with Pacquiao,” said Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz. “It truly is a thrill. I read the contract and couldn’t believe it. My favorite Pacquiao fights are his fight against Ricky Hatton, his fights against Juan Manuel Márquez, and really any of his entertaining matchups against Mexican opponents, and his fight against Floyd Mayweather. Whenever Pacquiao fought Marquez, it was a clash of emotions for me. I wanted Márquez to win as a fellow Mexican, but It was 50/50 because I always loved Pacquiao’s fighting style so much.”

The pair of Mexican sluggers will meet again on July 19. Their junior welterweight rematch will take place on the Mario Barrios-Manny Pacquiao PBC on Prime Video Pay-Per-View undercard from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
