Police in Arkansas say a person who was allegedly intruding at former middleweight champion Jermain Taylor’s house was shot early in the evening on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

Authorities soon found the alleged intruder at a nearby store, though the extent of his or her injuries wasn’t disclosed. Police also hadn’t yet determined or at least had not yet disclosed who shot the alleged intruder.

Taylor, 36, will be fighting for a world title on Oct. 8 against fellow 160-pounder Sam Soliman. Taylor is 32-4-1 with 20 KOs.
