After suffering a left arm injury, heavyweight titleholder Mahamoud Charr has been forced to pull out of a scheduled March 30 fight with Kubrat Pulev in Sofia, Bulgaria, according to Germany’s BILD.

The fight will be rescheduled for September, BILD reports, but the show at Arena Sofia will go on – with Pulev now set to fight an opponent to be determined.

Germany’s Tom Schwarz, writes BILD, will not be that opponent.

Two Americans and a Ukrainian – all of them unnamed – are said to be in the running to take on Bulgaria’s Pulev on short notice.
