At the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, lightweight contender Martin Honorio (28-4-1, 14 KOs) pulled off an upset twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Wilton Hilario (12-1-1, 9 KOs). Honorio controlled much of the action, including sending Hilario down twice in the sixth round. The scores were 120-106, 119-107 and 119-107.

Welterweight Michael Dallas Jr. (12-0-1, 3 KOs) stopped Fabian Luque (21-10-4, 12 KOs) in the first round.

Super bantamweight prospect Rico Ramos (15-0, 9 KOs) stopped Cecilio Santos (24-13-3, 14 KOs) with a wicked left hook to the body in the fourth round.

Heavyweight Alvaro Morales (4-6-5) won a split decision over Sergei Karpenko (0-1) of Ukraine. Karpenko was making his pro debut and recently signed a contract with Goossen Tutor Promotions. Karpenko is already scheduled for another fight, on March 27 against Anthony Mooney.
