Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, has unleashed at the recent reports - where WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is quoted as stating that he's going to want 60-40 or at the very least 50-50 - in the aftermath for a Joshua unification.

Wilder is scheduled to fight on December 1, when he defends his title against lineal champion Tyson Fury at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

After the recent comments that were made by Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs), Hearn says that he's not convinced the unbeaten puncher actually wants the fight to take place.

Wilder believes that an impressive win over Fury should grant him the right to earn just as much money as Joshua (22-0, 21 KOs).

“I am sick and tired of idiots out there that think he wants the fight,” Hearn said to IFL TV.

“How stupid do you have to be to think that Deontay Wilder wants this fight? Just listen to what he’s saying.

“It’s boring, boring, (Wilder) wants 60/40? f*** off, you haven’t earned 3 million bucks. “You could walk down any street in the world and ask anyone who Deontay Wilder is, nobody has a f****** clue.

“He isn’t going to do 300 buys on Showtime PPV and he wants 60/40, idiot. Don’t waste our time. Don’t use Joshua’s name to try and gain profile and publicity. Waste of time, waste of my life.”

At the same time, Hearn is holding out hope that a deal can be reached between the two sides.

“Maybe he’s just saying it, I don’t know, but if that’s what he thinks, please don’t waste my time, I’m really f****** busy,” Hearn said.

“No time for time wasters, it’s just so, so draining. All we do is chase, make approaches, make offers, try to have negotiations.”
