Well known boxing manager Cameron Dunkin continues to beef up his stable. Russian super middleweight contender Maxim Vlasov (23-1, 12KOs), 25-years-old, signed a managerial contract with Dunkin.
The sole blemish on his record occurred in February 2011, when he lost a close ten round decision to Isaac Chilemba of South Africa. He dropped Chilemba twice in the eight round, but came up short with scores of 95-94, 96-92 and 96-92. Since the loss to Chilemba, he won four in a row.
"Cameron Dunkin is my official manager and he represents all of my interests as a professional boxer. Dunkin has unique knowledge, a lot of experience, and well deserved respect in the sport. I'm so proud to work with him. I sincerely welcome our partnership and I believe it's going be long-term, honest and mutually beneficial for both of us,” Vlasov said.
“Now with Cameron Dunkin by my side I can finally do what I do best. Under the supervision of my coach Viktor Petrochenko, I can fully concentrate on my training. I hope to bring more joy to my fans and all of the admirers of professional boxing with my strong performances in the near future."
