Guido Vianello: record, next fight and profile →
The Bubble has been denied its historic moment. A planned heavyweight clash between Italy’s Guido Vianello and Phoenix-based Kingsley Ibeh has been pulled from the July 21 edition of Top Rank Boxing on ESPN at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. The bout fell through on Monday after Ibeh tested positive for COVID-19.
Kingsely Ibeh is prepared to make history in The Bubble. Already armed with two wins in a one-week span, the Phoenix-based Nigerian is set to become the first three-time participant on Top Rank’s current closed-doors summer series. Event handlers have confirmed to BoxingScene.com that Ibeh has emerged as the opponent of choice for Italy’s Guido Vianello, as the two will collide in a heavyweight preliminary bout on July 21 at MGM Grand Conference Center (“The Bubble”) in Las Vegas.
The first run of Top Rank on ESPN shows inside the MGM Grand “Bubble” will conclude with former featherweight world champion Oscar Valdez, ranked No. 1 by the WBC and WBO at junior lightweight, facing former world title challenger Jayson Velez in the 10-round main event Tuesday, July 21, inside the MGM Grand Conference Center.
Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene.com that unbeaten heavyweight prospect Guido Vianello (7-0) will return to the ring against an opponent to be announced on July 21st.
Heavyweight Jeremiah Milton, who recently made the move from his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma to Las Vegas, has been sparring undefeated 2016 Italian Olympian, Guido Vianello (7-0, 7 KOs), in preparation for his highly anticipated pro debut, which is tentatively scheduled for August 2020.

Guido Vianello needed less than three minutes to keep his perfect record intact Tuesday night. The Italian heavyweight prospect dropped Don Haynesworth with a right hand and stopped him in the first round of a scheduled six-rounder in Las Vegas. Referee Jay Nady stopped their televised bout 2:16 into it at MGM Grand Conference Center.

Shakur Stevenson made sure Monday that he wasn’t overweight for his debut in the junior lightweight division. Wearing a mask and foot coverings as COVID-19 precautions, the 22-year-old Stevenson stepped on the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s scale at exactly 130 pounds at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.
Robeisy Ramirez’s stunning defeat in his pro debut quickly knocked him off track for an eventual pro showdown with Shakur Stevenson. Bob Arum’s Top Rank Inc. signed Ramirez to a promotional contract in part to match him against Stevenson at some point because Ramirez beat Stevenson in the bantamweight gold-medal match at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Cuba’s Ramirez, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, will attempt to continue rebuilding his reputation by winning his third straight professional fight on Stevenson’s undercard June 9 in Las Vegas.
