BoxingScene.com has been advised that a "Premier Boxing Champions" card is nearly finalized for June 6th at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California. The card is being billed as an afternoon show, and according to promoter Tom Brown of TGB Promotions the show will be televised by NBC Sports.

The show will mark the return of former champion Robert Guerrero (32-3-1, 18KOs), who makes a quick turnaround after his decision loss to Keith Thurman in March. Guerrero is finally taking it easy, as he faces Aaron Martinez (19-3-1, 4KOs).

Also on the card, a WBA featherweight title fight with Jesus Cuellar (26-1, 20KOs) taking on dangerous veteran Vic Darchinyan (40-7-1, 29KOs), who bounced back with a win in February after suffering a knockout loss to Nicholas Walters last year. This fight is almost sure to end in a knockout.

Local favorites, Alfredo Angulo (22-5, 18KOs) and Chris Arreola (36-4, 31KOs) are expected to see action against yet to be determined opponents.

*Contrary to reports, the WBC lightweight eliminator between Dejan Zlaticanin and Ivan Redkach is not taking place on this card. Sources indicate it will land on a different PBC date.
