Three division champion Adrien Broner recently announced that he is exercising his rematch clause to avenge his December loss to Marcos Maidana.

Broner's flamboyant personality has made him the type of fighter that fans either love or hate. He has engaged in a war of words with many different fighters including six time champion Robert Guerrero.

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with Guerrero to get his take on the rematch that is slated for April or May. The Gilroy, Calif. native said that it is a fight that will definitely interest the fans but he questions whether Broner can make the adjustments necessary to leave the ring with his hand raised.

"I don't think he can make an adjustment. From a guy like Maidana, punches come from everywhere. As you can tell his style just works perfect for Broner. (Broner) is fast, he's strong, and he's young but let's see how he comes back," Guerrero said.

"This is will be telling, a true champion can come back and he had a pretty bad loss so we will see. I think it is going to be a good fight that everyone will want to watch. A lot of people don't like Adrien Broner and they like to see him get beat on and that's what Maidana does."

Guerrero is currently in litigation with his promoter Golden Boy and can't comment on the situation but said that he has big plans for 2014.

"2014 is going to be a big year for me. I can't wait to get back in the ring this spring. I can't wait to get back in there and hopefully make my way back to that championship," Guerrero told BoxingScene.com.
