British super-middleweight champion George Groves (14-0, 11KOs) is set for a return bout with hard-hitting Kenny Anderson (15-1, 11KOs) next year after the pair shared an entertaining six rounds in November 2010.

The original fight took place on the undercard of David Haye v Audley Harrison at the MEN Arena in Manchester with Groves eventually stopping the Scot after coming through a barrage from the rugged challenger.

The rematch has been ordered to take place before May 2012 by the British Board of Boxing Control who has put January 11th down as the date by which purse bids have to be submitted by their respective promoters.

On the English title front, champion Paul David has been ordered to negotiate to fight former Prizefighter winner Patrick Mendy, who has been quietly racking up victories since picking up the £32,000 cheque and ironically defeated David in the final.
