It looks like the sky is the limit for newly crowned WBA super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10 KOs), who comes off the biggest success of his career – a road decision win over former four-time middleweight champion Felix Sturm.

According to his promoter Vladimir Hryunov, the Russian fighter is being offered some big names around his weight class.

“Golovkin’s manager Oleg Herrmann offered us a fight in September in Germany. This comes as a confirmation and recognition of a loud statement that Fedor made on the day of his victory against Sturm. But we have some commitment with Andre Ward, and we first plan to deal with that. Gennady himself has a lot of things to do. Personally, as a person who was born in Kazakhstan, I don’t want this fight. I hope they would never meet in the ring in future”, said Hryunov to Allfight.ru at the end of the last week.

A few days later a new name was thrown into consideration in a talk with Allboxing.ru.

“We’ve been offered a fight against Martin Murray on September 5 in London, England. Right now we’re weighing all the options. We’re in close contact with the WBA as well”, told Hryunov.

WBA super champion in this weight class is Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KOs) of the States, who was obliged to defend against Carl Froch, a former WBA regular champion - if the British fighter chooses to go this way. Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) is a reigning Super WBA/IBO and WBC Interim middleweight titleholder with a record breaking series of kayo wins in middleweight title fights. In his penultimate fight he has stopped Martin Murray (29-2-1, 12 KOs) in the eleventh, the longest he has ever spent in the ring with any opponent.
