Gary Sykes (20-2, 5KOs) is still shocked that he landed a date with WBO super featherweight champion Adrian Broner next month.

British boxer Gary Sykes (20-2, 5KOs) is a heavy underdog as continues to train for his dream fight, a shot at WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner (23-0, 19KOs) on May 19th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The fight will be televised on HBO as the co-feature to the rematch Lamont Peterson-Amir Khan junior welterweight rematch.

A source close to the negotiations has confirmed that British boxer Gary Sykes (20-2, 5KOs) is being considered as the opponent for WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner (23-0, 19KOs), who returns on May 19th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. According to the Dewsbury Star, Gary Sykes (20-2, 5KOs) has accepted a non-title opportunity against WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner (23-0, 19KOs) on May 19th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. WBC/WBA #10 ranked super bantamweight Rendall Munroe (23-2, 9 KOs) came back to the squared circle to score a hard-fought but rather wide victory over Japanese Ryuta Miyagi (21-6-4, 16 KOs) over ten rounds. Miyagi, 36, applied some pressure to Munroe, 31, early in the fight and continued to press the action all night long. However, he was too straight-forward in his actions, which prevented him from being a real danger to the Englishman, who landed his uppercuts and short left hooks at will.
