Carl Froch has admitted he is unsure what the future holds after his victory over George Groves.

But Froch - and his girlfriend Rachael - hinted there could be one more fight in Las Vegas.

The 36-year-old retained his WBA and IBF super-middleweight titles with a devastating knock-out in the eighth round, sealing a fifth straight world title victory in front 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is lining up a title shot for the next eligible challenger James DeGale, who beat Brandon Gonzalez on the night.

But Froch said: "If I'm totally honest, I don't know what I want next.

"I can't say I'm going to fight again. I don't even know if I'm going to or if I want to, and I don't need to fight again now.

"I'd be very happy if that's the last punch I land in professional boxing. I could walk away from the sport very, very satisfied on the back of that. I'm not saying that's the end for me.

"I don't know what's going to top what I've achieved tonight. The size of the event, in the national stadium in front of 80,000 people, Sky Box Office, a rematch, with everyone watching - how am I going to beat that?

"But there is one box that's not ticked for me - Las Vegas.

"DeGale did well tonight and I'll fight anybody, but I'm not going to say I'm going to fight him next, why would I? If I'm not fighting again then I won't be fighting anyone.

"I just want to go back and relax with my family now."

His girlfriend Rachael also hinted that Froch would like to fight in Vegas.

"I can't tell you how happy I am, I'm so proud of him - it's amazing," she said.

"I haven't seen a smile like the one he has now for months and months. I was nervous for about a month leading up to it. I haven't really slept.

"I'll go through anything for Carl. I'd probably like him to say he's finished now, but who knows what he wants to do? He has said Las Vegas to me so maybe let's go there."
