At the Maywood Activity Center in Maywood, California, Mexican super middleweight Francisco Sierra (23-3-1, 21 KOs) and Florida’s Dyah Davis (18-2-1, 8 KOs) fought to a lackluster ten round majority draw in the "Top Rank Live" televised main event. One judge had it 98-92 for Davis, and other two judges scored it a draw with a 95-95 tally on both cards. Davis felt that he won the fight and said next time he will knock Sierra out.

Lightweight contender Oscar Meza (21-4, 17 KOs) picked up an eight round unanimous decision over Leo Martinez (15-15, 7 KOs). The scores were 80-72, 78-73 and 79-72. Martinez went down in the seventh round.

Heavyweight Andy Ruiz, Jr. (8-0, 6 KOs) knocked out Kelsey Arnold (4-7-2, 1 KO) in the third of their fight that was scheduled for six.

Junior middleweight prospect Patrick Teixeira (9-0, 7 KOs) was able to pull off a six round split decision over Dave Lopez. The scores were 58-56 Lopez, with the other two judges scoring it 59-55 for Teixeira.
