I was doing pretty good. I mostly grinded SnG's (1 table tournaments) playing multiple tables at a time & only dabbled in Mtt's (multi table tournaments) for most of my career. Hourly & ROI is more important for a SnG grinder. I'd rather not get too into the figures, but I never made less than 50k a year from my 1st year to my 2nd to last year playing. I was break even my last year but I had switched to Mtt's almost exclusively cuz I was living with a group of really good Mtt players in Costa Rica. I really don't know if I just ****** that last year cuz of natural variance that is common in big tournaments with 300 to 3k+ players or if I just ****** &/or was having too much fun in CR vs concentrating on poker.
