Let me clarify, I love Trinidad as a fighter and don't think just any mw would've beaten him. Hopkins was a special fighter and deserves credit for the win but being ay the fight live, there was a clear impact that Hopkins size had on that fight. Aside from skill, Hopkins was able to muscle tito around, hold him whenever necessary and push him back. Up to that point, nobody made tito move back and Hopkins size played a role in that. I don't think jacobs or Canelo can hold a torch to tito as fighters but as middleweights, I feel that they're bigger threats to someone on that weight class because they're physically big guys. More so jacobs. Skills are the primary factors that win fights but as they always say, a good big man will usually beat a good small man. Kind of like Canelo vs cotto.
