Honestly, if you're trynig to teach your kid, the thing I do is just go back to basics, and put my own twist on it. For example, youtube, "how to throw a jab", and it's very basic, but it helps a ton, and then just add your own little twist to throwing a jab that works for you. A MMA guy, Jon Jones (you probably know him), once said, a lot of his techniques come from just looking up moves on youtube, then copying them, and improving them. That **** really helps. As for fighters, Look up the guys without crazy atheltic ability, even though a lot would say Ward is an elite athlete, but he still keeps is super fundamental, and acts like he's not. And he does EVERYTHING so PERFECT. He's literally my favorite fighter to watch when I wanna copy techniques,and how to train.
I'm telling you, watch his shadow boxing routine. It's insane how he throws every punch, so perfectly, and blocks when he needs to, pivots when he needs to, etc. So amazing.
