    Y'all...Terence Crawford just exposed himself.

Welterweight titleholder Terence Crawford wants to be remembered as a boxing legend and face the best fighters in the world.

Crawford believes he has proved more in boxing than Spence and deserves to be the A-side.

    ...

Crawford understands the biggest knock on him is the lack of marquee names he has fought. His biggest "name" wins so far -- Amir Khan, Jeff Horn and Yuriorkis Gamboa -- leave much to be desired. He claims it's a product of fighters saying no to his challenges. Then he delivers his next two challenges: Pacquiao and Spence, in that order.
You mean, fighters saying no to ridiculous, unearned money demands. You've "proved more" yet you acknowledge your resume is crap even before 147.

    And why Pacquiao first?

Ah. So you want to fight soon-to-be 41-year-old half senator Manny Pacquiao who's on the outs first. Not prime Porter. I see.

And you're admitting, on record for all NSB to see, that Spence isn't ducking you, you're the one blocking the fight because you're being unreasonable with your money ask.

Which is why your 'younger days' were better days. You were willing to do what was necessary to become a star. Now, you're not willing.

So the narrative that PBC is ducking is BS. You're just delusional about how much money you should be getting paid.

    Finally. On the record.

I dont understand whats going on with Crawford, he is just not fighting top competition and I have no idea why .

TC needs to raise the curtain and fight the best guys, I dont care what order but we have Manny Errol and Porter for starters and he should fight them one after the other.

Crawford is going to be done before he actually fights and beats the elite fighters of his division, he is quickly becoming a wasted career .

He said why - He wants more money than he deserves to get based on his resume, but he doesn't care. He thinks it shouldn't matter - a lot of people on here think it shouldn't matter. But it does. It matters a lot.

Yes, it's true that those who talk the most smack make the most money, but he doesn't need to do that either. Manny Pacquiao was never a smack talker yet he made hundreds of millions over his career. But he did so because of who he beat. Resume.

Why Crawford doesn't understand that or refuses to is the real mystery.

These cats want Mayweather status without putting in the work to get there. Floyd fought some tough SOBs on the way up and steadily built his mainstream credentials to the point where he could actually generate the money he was demanding. These dudes want marquee PPV money without marquee fights. Maybe this quarantine will make these "stars" realize they need to fight each other to get paid.

              Crawford Should Get More Respect

TC is a proud, sometimes angry, in-your-face-dude. He is a serious talent, always takes his fights seriously, and a fight with Spence would be must-see.

I agree he should stop the grandstanding about money and understand in this market, the promoters have the popularity info and he will get less against Spence, Pacquiao, even Thurman - which is another fight I'd like to see.

Shawn Porter is a personal favorite but Crawford-Porter puts Porter again in the position of looking like a stepping stone, and I'd like to see that die down.

Anyway, we can criticize Crawford without getting too over-the-top. Some smart promoter should have a talk with him and make a dent in that surly attitude when under any circumstances he's looking at millions and big exposure.

Why is Spence more popular than Crawford? He's pretty surly too and rarely gives other fighters their due. Is it Dallas vs Omaha?

                Spence is more popular because

                (A) he went international to take the IBF that Porter lost domestically, got him exposure in the UK

                (B) he holds TWO of the three major belts, one of them the top belt in the division

                (C) His destruction of Ocampo got him exposure in Mexico

                (D) his win over Shawn Porter, a guy featured on major networks like Fox, got him more domestic exposure

Spence has been willing to do what Crawford has not - go over the pond to fight for titles, fight threats, and defend his standing against most anyone who asks.

Which is why I kept saying - in order for Crawford to be at the level he thinks he is, he has to EARN it. He thinks that "when I get in there I'll show why I'm worth it" - that's not how it works. At all.

People buying tickets want to know going in that the guy they're paying to see won't disappoint them when it comes to the big stage. Anyone can talk a big game.

Look at Michael Spinks - a quality fighter that wasn't really harmed by his loss to Tyson because it was Tyson.

But then you look at someone like Frank Bruno, an 'eye test' fighter if there ever was one, comes over the pond and gets pieced up by a VERY green James 'Bonecrusher' Smith after all that talk and hype.

With Crawford the dude is fresh off getting wobbled, two-pieced and dropped by a guy nobody really knows. That's NOT how you sell fans on fights.

He wants Pacman because thats the most winnable and highest reward fight possible, whats wrong with that? the fight is 90 to 10 in his favor.

Stylistically Crawford is too good for this Pacman. Also if the fight happens Pac will not be able to win on the cards even if its close, they will give it to Crawford to transfer the power.

Porter does nothing for his legacy or status, all a porter fight does for Crawford is set him up with ring damage and a possible loss if he wins he will be roughed up and have wear and tear because Porter is a tough out for everyone.
